    (In Canada), only about 20% of children grow up in physically/verbally/emotionally abusive homes. I'm not sure what the stats are for neglect, isolation, or sexual abuse, though. :/
    It's a shame that it happens at all.

      Not just kids, but adults too I mean. By siblings, parents, lovers, co-workers. Everyone has been abused at least once.
