I had a dream where an intruder entered my home who tried to kill me. I then shot him 3 times and killed him.
I had another dream where I was shot in the head and died.
These dreams always feel very intense and waking up feels like such a shock.
In high school I dreamt that I killed everybody in the bathroom, put them in the bin, washed my hands and went to class.
It's normal to have dreams of being impaled by unicorns while eating popcorn at a Starbucks.
Dreams can be anything we experience real or imaginary. As long as your brain has been exposed to it in some fashion you can dream it.
As a kid, I once dreamt that I killed someone (idk who) and decided to throw their body in the bin in the kitchen. My mum later found it in and went ‘Lucy, what is this in the bin? Tut tut, what have you done now’, and proceeded to scold me for throwing a body in the bin. Weird dream.
I once dreamed I went outside for a hasty walk when I run into a bald-headed man approximate three times my age. I for some reason dearly hated that man so I crushed his skull with a cane and ambled away lighthearted.
Then I woke up to find out that I somehow own that exact cane. Damfino where, when and how I got it.
Pretty common for me tbh. Both homicidal thoughts and thoughts related to my death
For about two years straight I have had murder dreams where I am killing people and animals who are a threat to me and I have had dreams of very morbid and disturbing things. The dream where you shot an intruder is your subconscious killing what it can't in real life. It means that someone or something is a threat to you in your life. The dream where you were shot in the head symbolizes resolve in an issue you have with yourself. One thing both dreams had in common was the use of a gun and guns symbolize fear,anger, or aggression and the need to defend or protect yourself.
I sometimes dream about these sorts of things.
A common dream I have is where I'm with a group of people and someone does or says something bad to me and then I massively overreact and start attacking them. I don't stop until they're not moving. Everyone around me is shocked and appalled and I feel ashamed. Then I wake up. It feels very real.
