Have you been to cold rock before?

Everytime I go past the store I find they always look very empty. I don’t blame some people it’s quite expensive. I’ve only been there about three times myself. What do you all think? I’m not sure if cold rock exists outside Australia so forgive me if you have no idea what I’m talking about.

Help us keep this site organized and clean. Thanks!

Never heard of it. Apparently, my closest is Olympic Park. That's too far to go for ice cream.

There isn't one anywhere near me. Am I missing out? Is it worth a road trip?

No clue. I'm lactose intolerant, so I'm not gonna try it out haha.

It's only mild. I can handle a bit of cheese, occassional yoghurt. I sometimes eat icecream, because I'm stupid. But at least I'm at home to deal with the results.

Never been a huge fan of dairy, so it doesn't really bother me to avoid them.

Apparently, cheese and yoghurt have less lactose in them, due to the manufacturing process? I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure that's what I read.

            • I’ve always heard yoghurt has more lactose that’s why it makes my stomach more upset than actual milk

  • Cold rock is only in Australia atm with 100 stores. I like em though. Maybe spread to USA soon. They'll be REALLY expensive then.

It appears that Cold Rock Creamery in Australia and Cold Stone Creamery in the U.S. are separately owned entities. Both companies started in 1994, and sell similar high end quality ice cream.

Never been down under but there are no "cold rocks" there unless you are referring to your hungry testicles.

I have never been to Cold Rock. I am familiar with ice cream places like the Marble Slab and Cold Stone creamery.

  • I don’t think many of us are from australia. But there’s a mall here in my town where a little shop will open up and then be forced to close two months later.
