A bit, even tho I was sick almost a year ago, I'm still not at 100%.
If I do power sets like I used to, I'm out of breath faster. It's annoying.
Still, feeling a helluva lot better now... Last spring I was out of breath after 2 flights of stairs. Now I have no problem with stairs and walking, but power sets and running are still hard.
I know I'm not in what you'd call "peak physical condition", but I know my body and it's limits.
Guess the coronavirus caused some permanent, or long term damage. I never got tested when I was sick and there is no point of getting tested after I recovered.
The coronavirus is a bit like taking away the turbo of a turbocharged engine. The result is low power, lower compression - alround poor performance.
I never had it. I tested negative multiple times.
Covid did hit my boyfriend's friends though.
One was asymptomatic. He got it from a coworker at Target. Target likes to brag about how they do extensive cleaning at their stores. Target lies. I work there too. I'd know. Lol
Another had it and said it felt like a really bad cold. Her brother she lives with had it from work and gave it to her.
His best friend said it felt like the flu. She had cough fits and fatigue. Long after the Covid was gone, she STILL gets cough fits and feels tired all the time. This person always ate healthy, exercised, and worked hard so it's weird seeing her permanently messed up.
The last one is dead. Apparently asthma and Covid are a deadly combination.
I'm trying my best not to get covid. My worse fear is that I'll be one of the asymptomatic ones and infect people who don't deserve it.
I know I haven't had it because the area I live in has yet to be infected. Australia has been great at that. It is only our major cities that have had any covid cases, and those were all brought under control very quickly.
However, I have a lot of family and friends in the UK and sadly some of them have died from covid. Others have had it and survived, but are suffering that dreaded long covid. Others have been surprised to test positive as they were totally asymptomatic.
Very mixed bag.
My sister and brother in law have it right now. My grandfather is just getting over it. I live in a hot zone for it.
Oddly enough my grandfather was getting over pneumonia when he tested positive (pneumonia was not caused by covid) the hospital sent him home with pneumonia and said he is in the worst place he can be with penumonia (in the hospital) because covid is crawling all over the walls. So we were scared he was going to die when he tested positive. But oddly enough he got less sick than my much younger brother in law. All of them are fine tho. They didnt get that sick. They said the flu is much worse
I got a couple days of chills back in maybe early march. That was the last time I've been sick, so I'm going to say no. Even if I went for a test and it came positive I'd consider it a false positive, because I haven't been sick and therefore didn't "Have covid," which would mean I got sick.
i get weekly tests by the company
so far im negative
