If you are thinking like this, you have not lost your soul.
We have all sinned (Romans 3:23) and and come short of the glory of God, some more than others, but at the end of the day, we have all sinned and we all deserve to lose our souls into hell fire.
But that's the bad new, now for the good news, God doesn't want us to lose our souls, and that's why he sent Jesus, the Bible says that Jesus's death on the cross paid for our sins and forgiveness and eternal life is available for whosoever believes in Jesus, the Bible says Jesus delivered (crucified) for our offences, and was raised again for our justification (Romans 4:25).
Forgiveness of sins is apart from doing good works, we can't save ourselves by good works, that is why Jesus had to pay it all.
Eternal life in Heaven is for those who cease trying to earn their own salvation (Heaven) by good works and simply comes to Jesus Christ by faith alone (Romans 4:5).
