You cant expect yourself to be "happy" all the fucking time, if you are you Must be on drugs. Have you "lost your soul" i mean, who even knew you actually had one?! I don't even know if i have one!
I wont give you something to be optimistic about mate but i would recommend that you take what you do have in life and just try to get comfortable with it. If thats not the case - get rid of the things that makes you uncomfortable and find this missing "soul" you are looking for.
It might take the rest of your mortality to find it, but i can safely assume that you might smile here or there. At the end of the road - you cant go back and do it all over again. So look forward, and yes - look behind you from time to time.
You aren't alone and there's a lot of traffic up ahead, you should be able to find some moments where you can just put the pedal to the metal and feel free. Just keep an eye on the speed limits and road signs.
