  • Well, what some people don't seem to know there is a difference between "depressed" and having depression... for example I would guess I have depression, because I really have no interests in life, and often times feels like it is no more vivid than a dream, going through the motions as they call it. it's a mental imbalance and not necessarily a direct result of outer problems. I am very grateful for the good things in my life, i am not really depressed, in the way that people think it means you're sad "woe is me" kind of thing. I'm not sad, I'm just not happy either. low mood, as they call it. In fact I feel pretty guilty to even say i have depression or am depressed because i know there are people who have it a lot worse. it's up to whatever those people show/tell me, I will understand that's how they feel whatever they tell me, even if I could never feel the same.
