I agree with said statement but I'm going to add a few things. She shouldn't feel as if she did anything wrong to not be the apple of his eye. I find it sad that she has feelings for a guy that knowingly used her body with no remorse just because he wasn't mature enough and to hormonal to think of her feelings. It isn't your fault he didn't like you the same way, someone may be thinking about you the same way and or vies for your affection. I'm sorry that you're still haunted by his memory. Many people have had these same feelings, sometimes you just have to bury them and find a way to distract these infatuations
