Hating traffic lights

I hate traffic lights so much. Well not the ones that NEED to be at an intersection, but the ones that don't serve much of a purpose. They piss me off. Especially in my town, where the people are so backwards they don't know what to do when it turns green. We just got our first traffic light this year, and trust me, it's been nothing but a freakin' headache!!! Is it normal to hate traffic lights so much?

    The problem isn't the streetlight then.... the problem is the people driving in your town.

    But that's not unusual.

    Drivers are more apt to get tickets for driving violations in their own towns, vs getting tickets when they're driving to a new area. The reason for that is that... when you're familiar with your own streets, you anticipate the drive and can often "zone out" while driving. So, when a new stop sign - or street light - is installed you may tend to ignore it because you weren't expecting to see it there.

    However when you're driving to a new area, it doesn't matter how new that stop sign is... you don't know the area, so you're paying better attention.

    We have em in our town too but so many ppl complained there takin down now.

    dude I have been feeling the same way for a while. I absolutely hate stopping at them and get furious sometimes.

    jk, everything has a reason behind it, either is bad memory,or change(sry for stealing lines obama) or who knows,if u express in detail how u feel bout the....traffic lights ,we'll find something
