Yeah I agree with this. USA puts up with this nonsense and a lot of other countries dont. If you are in that country learn that countries language. If you first move and you are having issues learning it ok yes that is understandable. You should not be judged for things like that. However refusing to learn another countries language is rude. They should not have to accommodate to you. If they do that is very generous. If you are a tourist you are there for a short amount of time so of course you cant learn the entire language. However if you are going to live in that country for months, years or the rest of your life learn at least one of the official languages of that country. I say one since some countries have 2-3 official languages. An example Canada. Where half know french and the other half English.
