On this website, the person who creates a post can hide any comments under that post. In doing so, the comment count is reduced by one.
The people who create comments also have the ability to delete comments. In doing so, the comment count is reduced by one.
When a poster hides a comment, the comment is -not- deleted.
Thus, if a poster hid a comment, the user who posted said comment can return to said comment to delete it.
So, what happens is this:
A poster hides a comment, reducing the comment count by one. The person who created the comment, seeing that their comment is hidden, deletes the comment, reducing the comment count by a further one. Thus, the comment count is reduced by a total of two, allowing for the existence of negative comment counts.
Has this site got a bug?
