I am just wondering, because I was actually the one who wrote to the site requesting that they add this feature. I was very pleased when they took my advice, because I know how disappointing it is when you post something and nobody comments. However, I am wondering how many people actually go into this section to check...and if there are still questions that go unanswered.
I use it, and am glad it's there. Mainly I go into that section because it's not as fun when there are a lot of comments to something and you know not many people are going to sit there and sift through every single comment, so more than likely commenting to something that's got 20+ comments will probably result to yours being lost in the sea of words that hardly anyone cares about anymore.
Thanks for commenting here. I am glad to hear that it has been of use to you. I agree that I prefer commenting on something where the OP is more likely to say, "hey, thanks, somebody actually commented!" Instead of just sighing over the fact that they just received their 68th comment.
I'm glad it's there. I think it's nice to help people out who don't have any comments. It really sucks when that happens so I like to help them out. Also, I have submitted polls that have gotten around 100+ comments and it's really annoying. After a while I just start ignoring them. So I wouldn't want to annoy someone else.
Well genius, someone gave the shit idea to give LOSER posts more exposure (hopefully) by making the 'loser' category of 'zero posts'....It's a SHIT idea, for SHIT posts. It's like winning the Special Olympics....you get to feel special for a second but you're still a complete retard.
Thanks. Your opinion on my idea is appreciated. I would appreciate it more if you were a bit more tactful about it though, you know. Obviously some posts are a bit meaningless, but the section is there for perfectly good posts, that just happen to be overlooked. Yes, that does happen. (Or did, before the "no comments yet" section was added.)
