for as long as i can remeber, i have had what i call rotten meat burps. i will burp and it tastes and stinks like some sort of meat product, like potted meat may be? i dont have a stomachache or anything with it, it's just smelly yucky tasting belches.

Take a couple of Tums after you eat. Sounds like indigestion. See if you can connect it to a certain food.
Eat slower, take your time and chew everything well, and try eating a mild diet for a while. Cut down on spicy foods and meals heavy with hamburger or meat etc and see if that helps.
Meat is really hard to digest. Also sip (don't guzzle) plenty of water before during and after meals. You might even have a mild allergy to something you're eating.
If you do feel a belch coming on and you're around other people, burp quietly, and then silently blow it in the direction away from your friends.

Rotten meat? No, but when I eat a Subway sandwich with all the veggies, vinegar, and oil it takes like I'm burping hot garbage. *blah*

What you smell is digesting food mixed with stomach acid. Not too tasty. But if you think it's too smelly or just plain wrong, then go to the doctor
