Sorry, is that a no you havent had it since youve been vaccinated? Im an at risk individual and im a bit worried cause of the damage that can be done to my organs if i get covid 😣
No I have not. Natural immunity is working wonders and I imagine J&J helps but idk didnt have covid in the year it took to get the vaccine. Nor since the vaccine. This is including the additional vectors that my dad brought home since he works in the ER.
During the development of the vaccines the local plasma seller near me was offering 400$ to those who provided covid resistant antibodies. Free 400$ so why not?
I'm just tired of the mandates because they go hand in hand with breakthrough cases. If breakthrough cases still happen when you have the vaccine what's the point in mandating people to get vaccinated if they can still transmit the virus?
Thats fair enough. Its to reduce the severity of covids effect on the body aka reduce the number of people needing to be hospitalized/dying right? Its not some forcefield that repels covid, rather a way for your body to be more prepared when or if you contract it.
No I think they were trying to pin down what receptors the covid antibodies bonded to so they could further develop the vaccine. They needed samples for this.
The place probably made a pretty penny since I sell my plasma for 120$ a week and they turn around and sell it for probably thousands of dollars. Could only imagine the turn around for covid antibodies for research purposes.
Capitalism works wonders for getting you the resources you need.
Has anyone had breakthrough covid?

Oh, i was talking about the vaccine.
Yeah pretty wild though. Americas medical industry is so strange to me.
