Has anyone ever tried to put blame on you for a serious crime?

Has a guilty party ever tried to put blame on you for a serious crime, that you had NOTHING to do with? Told the police that you did it or are a viable suspect?

Someone did this to me once, and it involved the FBI! I also just saw a man on TV who was charged with murder try to blame his own mother for it. He had ran someone down with his mother's car, he tried to convince police that his mother did it, that she had poor eyesight. Eyewitnesses confirmed it was the man, not the mother.

    The very bad justice system in the USA says one thing and does another. You are guilty until proven innocent, for one thing. And once you are arrested, even though you are not yet proven guilty, you have your rights taken away. On top of that, if you have money then you can make bail for anything. If you are lower class/poverty, then you are screwed and have no rights to bail. Yes, I was convicted of a crime I did not commit, and in my opinion, anyone who does such a thing deserves to be executed so they can't do that to anyone else again. And, in this wonderful judicial system of ours, you can get someone arrested simply by a false accusation and no proof whatsoever. That's what happened to me. Fuck this country--not only its government, but its people too. I'm a veteran of this country and I am ashamed of it.

    I know its not too serious but just today i got accused of stealing and trying to sell on an ipod touch on ebay and then the guy threatened me by trying to get the police involved
