Since I was nine I have always had lucid dreams so I'm not sure exactly how to help. When I was a child I had a ritual, well prayer, that I said before going to sleep. I said the same thing every night. Also I mentally pictured what I wanted. Actually forming the picture in my mind. During the dream if it wasn't going the way I wanted, I would realize I was dreaming, then I would change things. If you can't change things enough just try to wake up. I have only had one instance where I could not leave a dream (well nightmare) and that was after my brother died. And let me tell you, that was really bad. Also it's important to note, just because you are trying to control your dreams, it doesn't mean you will remember them. I remember very few dreams because I'm a heavy sleeper.

Yes , try jogging for miles. then at night practice having dream topics. Soon you can decide to dream about whatever you want too, then remind yourself that during a dream you are in control . soon during dreams you can then do anything like fly float fuck pull in whoever you want to get rid of whoever you need to. you be asleep and you will know its a dream you will know you control every aspect , thats lucid dreaming.

Take melatonin, eat chocolate before bed. Possibly take a natural sleeping aid, these usually give me 4-5 insane dreams a night. Most dreams feel like they are 2-3 hour movies..I wake up feeling exhausted because I feel like I have been through tornadoes or anything crazy like that.

Dream journals 📓 will help you remember key events and details from your dreams. Also my own way of triggering a lucid dream is to think about what makes reality our reality, so while im dreaming i would see that the dream reality doesnt match up. My last way is to simply look up! I wont tell you what youll see if you do and also dont google it either, so be ambitious and discover what lurks above you and when you see the massive irregularity in the dream world youll instantly know youre dreaming. *another little tip :) if you feel like youre regaining awareness of the real world then focus on the ground and spin around in the lucid dream! Do this till you regain lucidity and focus within the dream. Hope this helps you out as much as it helps me out! Enjoy and dont forget to look up.

Be conscious of your unconscious at all times and it will become natural to see things for what they really are. keeping a dream diary can help as remembering details helps reveal more next time and it can help analyse and interpret your dreams which makes you more open to experiencing them with a conscious mind next time.

I'll just post what I said in another post that asked this:

I accidently taught myself how. I was constantly checking the time and saying dumb shit like "this is [insert day, time, and year]. This is life" At some point I found myself doing that in my dreams and realised I was dreaming since the time in my dreams was never consistent.

Try thinking really hard about what you want to dream about. Think about it deeply before you go to sleep. When you are dreaming, you may remember that you wanted to dream about something else. This will trigger the memory (hopefully) in the back of your head that you wanted to Lucid Dream. If this doesn't work, ask someone else.
