I know, I've read them all. I can see how you might be able to follow if you'd seen the movies (though I personally don't think the movies are very good; I'm not fond of some of the liberties they took, both with plot details and with costumes). You would miss details that end up being important.

no she wrights them well, plus they all have seen the previous films.
I've read them all at the beguinning she explains the story well.
