  • You just have to bite the bullet and get up at a decent time for a few days in a row. It will be horrible for a couple of days but your pattern should shift very quick. If it doesn't then maybe head to the docs because there can be medical reasons for this.

    Also to make this first couple of days easier on yourself you could try reading before bed. So if you want to fall asleep at midnight, go through to the bedroom, get in your PJs, have a cup of camomile tea and crack open a book. Hopefully it will get you off to sleep a bit earlier than usual. I know this all sounds very lame but I promise you it helps.

    The other option is to have children. You will develop this magical ability to fall asleep in minutes at any time of the day or night.
