    Yeah, at least that's what I've gleaned from what she's told me. Sometimes I wonder if it's true, because I don't understand why some females choose to remain in bad relationships.

      Because you love them and you were probably terribly lonely before hand. It's like a double edged sword. Going for freedom hurts just as much as staying. If that makes sense

        Some people are more afraid of loneliness than abuse. It's not easy to strike out on your own, but I'm a firm believer that it's completely worth it. When someone takes a leap of faith, and leaves an abuser that person get to walk away with more of their self esteem intact.

        I've come to love solitude to be honest.
