Had a class where it taught almost nothing it was supposed to?

This is more of a question of how prevalent it is rather than is it normal or not because obviously it isn't supposed to be normal.

Off the top of my head I can think of a few classes I had in the past where we essentially did nothing or deviated from what class was supposed to be for.

Gym, it was the usual for about the first week. Did roll call, stretches, then a forced activity. Somewhere along the way they stopped caring. At the start of class instead of doing roll call we would just sign our names on a sheet, and we did "whatever we wanted" which was basically limited to sitting around or shoot a few baskets. We were still graded though if whether or not we threw a couple balls. It's just gym though so guess it still counts.

Business/Economics, I honestly don't remember if I learned anything from this class. If anything, all I remember is watching a documentary of how Walmart and McDonalds started. My teacher considered himself a huge patriot and for whatever reason every Friday he would invite recruiters from various sections of the military to speak with the class and convince some of us to join. I also remember one of these days caused the school to go on lockdown because they actually entered the school carrying firearms.

Some class I can't even remember what it was. That's how bad it was. It had substitute teachers for entire class. One of the subs was an ex-military officer I think, and he didn't care what we did. He sometimes put up random Youtube comedy videos on the projector for us to watch and spoke about random humor things. It was so bad that even the school principal often lingered about to check up on the class making sure he was doing his job and even scolded him. That never fazed him though and somehow he was still able to come back and sub for most of the class time even after every other odd day he swapped with someone else.

TL;DR lul na education kappa
