And it Victorian times, carrying extra weight was seen as attractive because you were affluent enough to eat heartily. The whole thing is cyclic and all the people on this site who post hateful comments don't seem to realise they are intrinsically wrong. Plus what is attractive is a personal choice, anyway, not a universal one. I think I may be a Victorian gentleman in my attitudes!
