Really, men have NO clue how much make-up a woman is wearing in most cases.
My younger brother has a real problem with women wearing make-up. Myself, I don't mind either way. I don't think there's a good answer to this. Our sister wears light make-up but that's just her choice. I think women should do what they want and not worry what men think.
It is truly rewarding to see women wearing makeup, especially when you see what we are confronted nowadays out there..
Some wake up, get out of bed, put on a pair of ratty jeans or shorts, a tee shirt, flip flops, no make up, and hair that resembles a residenxwe for creepy crawlies, and head on out the door to face the world thinking they look good... Au contraire..!!!
I myself wear my fair share ++ of makeup, and then again, I am a long time married crossdresser, so what these g/g s don't wear re makeup and PROPER attire, I help to fill in their shortcomings..

Hmm.. I think you should wear however much makeup you feel comfortable wearing. Who cares what a bunch of random guys thing? Or what anyone else thinks for that matter? Personally, as a female I find it embarrassing to be the same gender as those girls who have pasty faces, colourful eyeshadow like a drag queen and ridiculously bold coloured lipstick. Your skin tone and hair colour is also a factor, and determines which make up will look best on you. A fair skinned blonde girl will often look trashy if she has a ton of base, eyeshadow and lipstick on. Blondes look better with nude or natural tones. Ladies with olive toned skin and darker hair are the luckiest, such as myself. When I go out I always wear powder base, blush, black eyeliner, black eyeshadow and mascara. Sometimes I even wear fake lashes because they're a lot longer and thicker than when you wear mascara alone and it never looks over done because it matches my hair colour and its all matte coloured, I don't wear shiny sparkly drag queen make up. I think whatever looks most flattering to you is what counts.
i hate seeing orange cake faces with really visibly makeup lines that stand out really bad. i wouldnt wear makeup at all if it wasnt for my horrible acne scars.. damn puberty. my boyfriend prefers me without it and at first i thought he was just being sweet but he actually gets disappointed when i answer the door with makeup on
I agree with wigsplitz, most guys have no idea how much makeup girls are actually wearing! Personally I wear primer, concealer, 'lemon-aid' for the bags under my eyes, foundation, highlighter, eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow and blush, and I always get complimented for my 'natural beauty'! People can barely see that I wear makeup because it's all nude tones but there's a lot of it!
