No. It may seem a lot of work to somebody who is used to doing nothing to it.
I have long hair too, and it is a pain to cut off splits but I do it all the time, and the splits never seem to disappear. Maybe it's just because I've neglected it so much in the past.
Guys: What length hair do you prefer?
