When you take away the gun violence in places where it's gun free cities - Detroit, Baltimore and states like Chicago, Washington DC there's many of the numbers we see that makes the USA a gun problem country. Take those places away (actually the gun free zone violence) and the USA would then be next to the lowest on the list per population.
Statistically FACT.
I have no problem with background checks or making them stiffer, but the criminal, the would be killer/criminal can and will always get access at some point to them.
In MANY cases with these mass shootings you'll find the shooter broke the laws by the weapons they used, they stole them and took into gun free zones.
It's the parent who person(s) who they live with that are responsible for them. If their child or someone that lives in their home has a mental disorder, there should be red flags for them to be allowed to have guns in the home.
Here's the problem:
Not everyone is diagnosed with their mental disorder and not everyone who has issues show them.
Not only this, but as in the case with a serial killer, those who kill "usually" seem like a normal person, the kid next door prior to the shooting.
In the cases where their neighbors, a family member or their classmates or co-workers contact authorities about them, it's up to law enforcement to monitor them. In the case of this latest Florida shooting the FBI and local law enforcement totally dropped the ball.
Gun ban, yes or no?
