  • ...why would you have to copy the entire Cuban government to learn from their health care system? Aside from the fact that that logic makes no sense, you can learn from certain aspects of a government without making a carbon copy of the entire thing, there are dozens of other countries that have significantly better health care systems than the US, and they're also better than the US in every other way, to copy.

    If the US government decides to establish martial law, a gun's not going to jack squat for you. Have you seen what the police are capable of when black people peacefully protest unlawful shootings of unarmed black people? Imagine what they'd do to people with guns. And you're much more likely to accidentally shoot someone you love, or get shot by someone you love, than stop a bear from attacking them. Fun fact: people with guns are more likely to die during a home invasion than people who don't have guns.

    I don't care if you want to feel safe. I want to actually be safe. And guns make everybody less safe.
