I always admired Simo Hayha, the Finnish sniper who killed 505 Russians, "Probably more" in less than 100 days during the winter war of 1939-40. And this in subzero temperatures at a time when there was about 7 hours of daylight. And he only used iron sights so the glare of the snow off the scope would not give away his position. The Russians put a big price on his head but never got him, although he did get his jaw about shot off. Look him up if you haven't heard of him. The "White Death". The Finns are some tough customers. They're the only country that the Russians could not vanquish after WW2. Only 3 million people at the time but the mighty red army gave up trying. They would die to the last man, woman and child before they would give up to communism.
Gun ban, yes or no?
