I agree. But their are a lot more people in the US than there is in Canada. I don't really watch TV. I have actually seen a guy hold a gun sideways, against multiple suggestions against it, and he ended up burning his arm.
That's pretty much what I meant. Way more people and a much larger military. I'm sure most Canadians are great shots. And like you said, out of necessity. No room for error when your survival's at stake. So going by ratio and not sheer numbers, your probably correct now that I think about it.
