Guilt when i eat

When ever I eat I feel so guilty! I want to be skinny and no matter how much I loose I still feel fat! I hate myself anytime I take one bite of something! I've maximized my calorie intake to 500 and can't have more then that a day! And then I throw up everything I eat. I know it's bad on my body but it's like I don't care about that! I just want to look perfect! This has controlled more in my life then I thought it would! Is it normal?

This is not normal. This is an eating disorder. This is not only bad for your body, but it will kill you if it continues. I know you want to be skinny, but think about your family. How would they feel if you were dead? Please get help. Speak to your school nurse if you are still in school or seek out support groups in your community. There are also national and local hotlines where you can go for help. If you are posting on this website, then you already know that this is hurting you and your life. Please, get help.

This won't get you a perfect body, it'll get you a dead body. Eat accordingly to what your metabolism needs, consult a nutritionist for that matter. Work out and eat well, thats it. What do u weigh? How tall are you? M/F?

Sounds like you have a serious eating disorder. If you can't eat normally on your own seek help. If you need to lose weight then also seek help so you can do it in a healthy way that works over time. Its really bad for your health to starve yourself. Your body needs nutrients and calories to maintain itself and there will be consequenses if it doesnt get it. If you lose weight very fast then you also lose a lot of muscle, making you burn less and gain weight more easily back

It sounds like you have both Anorexia and Bulimia. You may not realise it but you're spiralling down a dangerous path. I should know. I'm currently recovering from Anorexia. I've it on and off for years. The thing about EDs are that they often creep up on you when you lest expect it. I had a relapse in late 2011 and I believe, early 2012. Before, I had my relapse I didn't even realise that I was going to have one. I failed to see the warning signs. EDs never really go away. You may get better from them but they are lurking somewhere deep inside of you. Waiting for the moment when you are the most vulnerable; it's the perfect time for them to strike... I really think you should get help before it further escalates.

I can't say it's normal, but I can relate. I'm a male at 5'10" and around 120-125lbs. While I'm lighter than almost all of my friends/coworkers, I still feel guilt when eating anything that I think may pack on pounds. It's clear you may be at risk for an eating disorder, but who am I to cast stones?
