Grown man crying about mean woman

Tell me if this is weird or not, I was standing near a grown man at the store today who started crying because the lady helping him wasn't being nice to him. I realize how some people shouldn't be rude, but isn't it just a little weird for a grown man to completely freak out and start crying tears because the cashier wasn't being nice to him?

If it was a woman, would you be asking this?

Poor guy obviously had some shit happening and was pushed to his limit. Men are allowed emotions, too.

This is probably a fake story by someone with a femdom fetish, even the title sounds like porn.

      • Why do people always assume everything must be porn related? There's nothing remotely pornographically related to this post. Everyone today always assumes everything has a sexual double meaning. And two others agreed with you that I probably meant this pornographically? Seriously?

Probably. But the general sexist attitude fuckin shits me and is quite popular.

  • Poor guy. Probably already feeling upset and that just set him off. Cashier needs to be more understanding.

No doubt, but I can relate. Things have been awful for me since Hurricane Harvey.
        :-(

Hopefully that dude is doing better as I type this at this very moment, that is my hope for him.

Some people cry. I was never one, but picked up the skill recently as a full grown man. Don't know what purpose it serves but I'm glad I've been allowing myself to.

      • I know that women can get really turned on by a guy who can cry at a movie. And it is understandable and that casheir should've been nicer if the guy broke down and cried because his life in general has been so rough and he finally reached breaking point. But, my post was about this guy who started crying just over the cashier being rude and that was it. I was there, she was very rude, then he confronted her politely about her rudeness, she refused to apologize and she kept deliberately acting so hateful and bitchy, then he started literally crying while saying how mean she was being to him, and she still wouldn't apologize or nothing, and she really looked weirded out as well as hateful once he started crying.

Maybe he has some mental issues, and the cashier needs to be a little more understanding.

    • She wasn't understanding. I can see why she should be understanding if he's crying about something else going on, but crying because she wasn't being nice to him? That's weird.

Sounds like she has some poor customer service skills. I'm sure he had plenty of other issues, but still it wouldn't kill her to be nice.

So if he was behaving weirdly he obviously has mental health issues, so why not try & be understanding?

        • I agree. Why was this cashier continuing to be so hateful? That's what I've been wondering?

It's unusual but certainly not abnormal. I have a 40-something man with Down Syndrome in a course I'm doing and he gets teary VERY easily. If there's a lot of love and positivity in a room, he'll cry. If he's upset or in pain, he'll cry.

What is your problem? You are a grown ass man. All you do is whine like a little bitch on this website and falsely report users and posts when you do not get your way or if people call you out. You must be a drunk and mentally ill. You have taken trolling to new pathetic levels.

Not normal for an adult, unless he just went through a lot of stuff and that was just enough to set him off, like pretty much everyone here already stated.

When someone is being mean you feel hurt. When you feel hurt you want to cry. He let it out and there's nothing wrong with that

Beats holding it in and letting it hurt him for longer

He may be a man and he may be an adult but he's still a human with emotions

    • I notice how most of your responses on this page indicate that it's totally cool for a grown man to cry over a mean woman. Those are not the attitudes I always see around where I am. Maybe it's because I'm in Kansas and people are a little more backward here and still think with the "a grown man crying is a pathetic pussy" mentality. Alot of you guys are probably from the east coast or California or somewhere where more people have the modern, liberal "it's totally OK for a man to cry" mentality. People are more up to date and modern on the coasts than in the Midwest, I've actually noticed that in alot of ways when I've been there, then when I go back to Kansas, it feels like I've gone back in time again.

It could be that he is having a bad day, bad week or month, and yeah like others here have said could have some mental health issues, who knows, poor dude hope he’s feeling better now.

instead of thinking its weird, how about considering he was already having a horrible day or is going through a tuff time. You dont know what someone else is going through in their day to day life. The cashier being rude could have been the last straw of holding it together

  • Depends on the actual stimulus for that reaction. If he cried only about that, sounds very abnormal. Most likely not a normal reaction at all.

naw , he probably got out of the army and had stress injury. he might have been crying because the voices in his head told him to kill her and the last persons head he blew off was also a woman's head. So she should go on being rude to him because she can. thats the advice i give to her.
