A lot of times with sex poeple are unsure about having it but almost always are glad they did after the fact. Same thing with exercise actually, usually unsure about doing it to begin with but glad you did afterward.
Since it seems like sleep and weather has been a problem for you, I'll be my fitness nerd for a second and give you some more recommendations!
For sleep I would take melatonin in tablets a half an hour before bed each night. Go a few months with it and then remove it and see if your body has adjusted. This helps me sleep SOOO much it's highly recommended.
For winter weather its likely your deficient in vitamin D like almost everyone is. Supplementing 2-5 IU a day of D3 will help immune support, energy levels, digestion, skin, muscle tissue and more. It's one of the best supplements to take!
There are other supplements that help as well but those are the two that I recommend most for the money to effect ratio. Also I dunno if its this way for everyone, but music literally is the best thing ever! I can control my mood with spotify and it helps me get excited for workouts, relaxed for sleep, focused to study you name it. I've got 80 playlists on spotify each with a specific purpose and I think that finding music you love and that makes you feel good can be a huge game changer. I would look in to that more as well if possible. Best of luck my good pal!
Yeah, I haven't posted a question in a million years & hi hahaha.
My feelings are really situational & not a chronic thing (you can read my comment to DIO, if you wanna know why I'm all stressed out), but you're probably right on about the sex & exercise.
I tend to sorta retreat into myself & want to be alone, so I haven't felt like having sex, but I should. My fiance is always super supportive & there for me, so I should have sex with him before I have to leave the country lol.
As 4 vit-D & exercise, I still do it a bit, just not as much. ..like, i still definitely spend time outside when it's sunny, walk the dog, ride my bike, just not as much, so idk if its seasonal effective disorder contributing to my stress, but you're right on the exercise thing- I need to have a solid work out & spend as much time outdoors as possible. That definitely helps.
I have a 19 hour(ugh!) Plane ride coming up in the next few weeks, so I'm definitely not going to be taking any sleep aids before then, because I'm hoping I can pop some pills on the plane & sleep then Haha.
But thank you so much for taking the time to give me advice. I really appreciate it!
Wow that's stressful I can hardly imagine. Situation stress happens and sometimes there is nothing you can do. I would maybe start melatonin after that plane ride if sleep is still an issue. Congrats on getting married as well. I'm over here can't even get a date so you should feel lucky!
Omg, it's so fucking stressful, holy shit! But, I'm gonna take your advice & get my butt outside tomorrow (it's supposed to be sunny) & go to the park & at least take a walk in the sunshine. We have actual wallabies at the park here too! I should just do some straya stuff be4 I go.
Hopefully I'll be able to sleep well after this is all over, but if not, I'll look into melatonin.
Thanks for the congrats! I do feel lucky to have found the right person. Lots of sex & it's like being on a permanent sleepover with my best friend Haha. I'm sure you'll meet the right person when you're ready!
Ugh- thanks 4 the advice & listening. I feel a bit better after venting on here, surprisingly & I'm sure I'll feel much better after getting up & moving around 2morrow. Maybe I'll even be in the mood for sex hahaha.
Yeah it feels good to vent on here doesn't it? I'm glad I could help!
Speaking of venting on iin... As far as me finding the right one, it seems like quite a lost cause. My body just does not desire monogamy yet my mind wants to want it. It's really weird and frustrating but after two years of this I still want variety and novelty over monogamy.
You shouldn't put pressure on yourself to settle down at your age. I was nowhere near emotionally ready for a solid relationship in my early 20's, not to mention the fact that it's the age of peak testosterone, I wanna fuck everyone I see age for dudes, plus you are taking some type of bodybuilding supplements that make your hormones even more jacked up.
It's ok not to be ready to settle down, but if you are honestly troubled by your feelings about sex & relationships & shit, just see a counselor, dude. It should be completely free at your university. There's absolutely no shame in just talking to someone about it. You shouldn't feel frustrated or helpless or lonely or feel like you are a victim to your own sex drive. If you're at a state university, they'll have totally free student health, including counseling. You should just talk to someone. What's the harm? It'll maybe take a few hours & you'll probably feel better.
I'll go to the park & you can check out a student services counselor...Deal?
They do have it free at my school. I'm just not so sure that they could help me. I don't really want a lower sex drive I think I'm more pissed that I can't get a good FWB yet this year. I don't feel like a victim, I see my high sex drive as a positive thing actually. I don't feel helpless either I do thoroughly enjoy each day I just think about sex a lot. What would they tell me if I just say I'm frustrated I can't get laid?
Got the stressies
