Got more "powerful" feelings for best friend

I have the best friend that you could ever have. I used to sleep over a lot, and we would stay in his parents bedroom coz they were away, and we'd sleep in their bed. We became so close and did everything together to the extent that I got stronger feelings towards him, and actualy got to a point where I thought I would love "sleeping" with him.

I've never had feelings for other guys, and I am pretty sure I'm straight. Have any other guys experienced this?

    I think it's normal. You and your friend do everything together. Many similarities, you feel like he gets you. Your very comfortable with him. normal.

    Yep. I also had this long-time best friend with whom i did everything and we just couldn't live without one another. Until one day, just for fun, we ended up sharing a really hot kiss (we're both girls btw) and from then on i started thinking about her A LOT. Eventually i realized i couldn't deal with our relationship anymore since i couldn't stop looking at her THAT way and she couldn't care less about the whole kiss thing and just kept being the 'best friend' she had always been. I stepped away and after a while we stopped talking. We dated a few people after that and after a few years of awkwardness we resumed our friendship only for her to realize that she was actually in love with me. I liked her back so we secretly dated for a while until she told me that if we were to keep going like this we would eventually lose all of our friendship. So we broke up. And we're still best of friends
