Going crazy

There are times when songs keep playing in my head over and over again..This started a few months ago, usually just one phrase of a song on a loop and can go on for three days straight. I can't concentrate on things and sometimes I even freeze and stop breathing when I'm stressing out about it.. Even when I don't think about it's always playing until I notice it and starts bugging me. It's really driving me nuts:C

I hate it wen it happens, esp wen I wake up with a song in my head. And its just that one part over and over again. Wats even worse in wen someone else has it and sings it aloud n if yhu know the song then yhu get it stuck in your head too 😣

I think what you may be experiencing is called an earworm. I get 'em once or twice a week.

    • doesn't it make you feel stressed out and uneasy?.. I mean hearing the same thing like a broken record for hours on end? I think this is worse than a typical earworm:(

They piss me off but eventually go after 20 minutes or so. The best way I've found to get rid of them is chatting to someone. The focus is broken on the earworm & it vanishes. Why dont you have a look round some psychology forums. see if there's any tips or tricks anyone else knows?

This happens to me on a daily basis but it's usually muse so I don't mind. Try find some awesome music to get stuck in your head and listening to the song a few times can help :)
