Of course it is normal just don't make the same mistake I did by putting glue on them first. Just so no one can accuse me of being an idiot, the balls had cracked and I put glue on them to keep them from falling apart. I didn't have a proper vice so I used the best thing I could think of to hold them together while the glue dried. BIG MISTAKE!!!
