I'm a regular blood donor. I'm also a regular pot smoker. I'm not saying whether I give blood stoned or not, but... if I did, would that be normal? Also, what are the hypothetical effects for the recipient?

    Stoned blood wont have any adverse effects, otherwise they'd ask, do they? As far as i can see, only chemicals in the blood (smack, speed etc) would cause any problems because they actually float in the bloodstream, thc goes into the lungs then through the body..

    Since THC metabolises in the fat, what is in the blood is only in trace amounts and won't truly affect the recipient. I smoke marijuana near every day, as well as give blood every 60 days, and the blood bank has never given word edgewise.
