Anyone who gets a tattoo are basically attention seekers. In a lot of societies there is a desire to be perceived as different or interesting and especially in the west we concentrate greatly on the visual. We used to keep our loves, lives and interests to ourselves and family and friends. Now it seems we have to stamp our life story all over our bodies and then ram it down everyones throats. It's quite shallow really. Beautiful girls with tattoos is like looking at a rose that's been painted by a blind man - it just looks so naff !
