I'm 5'6 and muscular but on dating websites I say I'm 5'8 just so I fall into more girls search criteria because they all search for a tallish man. Any time I go on a date with a girl though, I confess right at the beginning and the truth is it hasn't affected my success rate. Women think they want a tall man but if they give you a chance and you click it doesn't really seem important any more.
