    I sit my ass down, but my friend hovers lol I find it rediculous.

      Hovering in a place one's not comfortable sitting on the seat of- is NORMAL.

      Or would it better phrased as being:

      Less uncomfortable to hover than contemplate sitting there?

        Oh no, I get your guy's side of it. I just don't do it myself. Even my boyfriend won't take a dump in a public washroom. But I'm more like the OP. I'll sit. I don't see the point in hovering... but I see how it could give some people that piece of mind
