My husband works away a lot. I don't have any sex toys, but when I get the urge, I use anything to hand, lubricated with olive oil. I've used courgettes, bananas, carrots and and a hair spray can. If I've gotten turned on at the office, I've sometimes called in a bought a courgette just for that purpose. Is it normal?
I'd recommend NOT using fruit or veggies as sex toys.
Instead, I would recommend treating yourself to a day at the adult store picking out toys.
Fruit and veggies can be risky.
1) You don't know what pesticides were used on them.
2) Washing may not be enough - Sure your stomach acid can kill that crap off but... you don't have that kind of protection in your vagina.
3) You cannot sterilize fruit/vegetables easily without cooking them
Seriously, get a sex toy. Many toys - at least the non-mechanical ones - can even be put in the dish washer to be sterilized.
