How old are you, out of curiosity? It seems like an odd question for someone over 14 to ask (no offence intended).
It's nice to be asked out by someone who you fancy.
It can be flattering, but also awkward or even unpleasant to be asked out by someone who you have no interest in.
If she likes you back then you're good to go, if she doesn't then you may get turned down. Take the risk and cross your fingers.
