Whenever I'm depressed, I wear nothing but black. It helps. I guess I'm looking for attention? I dunno. I also wanna paint my nails black and due my hair black. Haven't dyed it yet but I will. Is this normal? I'm depressed a lot.
Actually, it's the opposite. Black makes a person feel that their blending in. This is one of the reasons that "goths" wear black so often. It's a way to tell people to leave you alone, just as colors draw attention to you.
Actually I wear Black because i don't like color much, I'm Goth and I don't mind if people talk to me as long as they aren't dumb fucks that just want to ask me if I'm a devil worshiper. OK JUST BECAUSE SOMEONE IS GOTH DOES NOT MAKE THEM A DEVIL WORSHIPER OR A SATANIST (YES I NAMED THEM SEPARATELY BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT THE SAME THING) I AM PAGAN AND PROUD OF IT. but other then those people I don't mind people just talking to me. I'm a happy goth not a wannabe fucker who just acts like I hate the world and all of it's people. That's a stereotype my friend.
You should do what I do hen I get sad I go to the Graveyard and talk to the dead people about all my problems. or my mommy takes me there to read books.
i used to do that alot (except painting the nails though i did draw on myself with sharpies) black makes me feel warmer i guess more comfortable like you can express your sadness in clothing i mean being a guy i just threw stuff on but i still picked the stuff that said how i felt in more than words i don't think your looking for attention just that your sad and express it, nothing wrong with that as for the depression i'm still wearing black sometimes and usually depressed just try to find a good outlet and maybe a good friend to talk to
