Part of my wants to say there is never a reason to hit a woman, but my wife kicked me in the nuts once and I reflexively snap kicked her ass so hard she was bruised for a week (before I collapsed in a ball with tears in my eyes).
Don't hit her again, and if she hits you, dump her?
Never actually passed out, she ranted, raved, and left apparently to go to the police.
Later she returned, moaning and bitching about how bad her leg hurt etc, I just ignored her. To the day we separated (some 4 years after this event) she saId I beat her up, all because on one occasion she kicked me in the nuts and I bruised her leg.
The ironic justice of it all is after this her next boyfriend DID beat her up, almost putting her in hospital. Apparently she even went to her psychiatrist after this and tried to tell him I'd done it, when I hadn't even seen her for 6 months. Crazy bitch.
