Getting off of government assistance

I obtained employment in October and my income is going to greatly increase in the New Year, so much so that my food stamps, Medicaid, and LiHeap will probably be ending.
I actually feel miserable about this. I feel like quitting my job and I probably would just to keep my government benefits if I didn't like saving so much extra money. I could travel a lot more (not that I didn't before, living off of the government's dime...I've been to 34 states). And I could have enough to buy my own property.
But, I will miss living off of the government. The government really owes me for all the psychological trauma it caused me both in childhood and adulthood.

Here's how much the government spent on me...just in adulthood: (estimates) since 18
Housing- 92,000
Food- 28,800
Medical Care-150,000
Education- 40,000

And I'm glad I don't ever have to repay it.

I also dont like big government but I try to use that energy into not depending on them. I dont like to feed the system. It's a handout to keep you poor and secure your support. They toss you pennies and then fear monger about the other side of the political spectrum wants to take your handouts. It's not that much money either.

They will always say "support me politicially! I dont like billionaires theyre evil!" And then they just take money from a middle class person and give some to you. Then they get a big donation from the billionaires they supposedly despise. Its a scam used to keep you poor and keep your support while you live in squalor.

I'm with you, I myself keep my government benefits, and also watch the news for a living.

Fuck the man. If million/ billionaires actually paid their taxes, everyone would be better off. Get what you can as long as you can.
