Genital piercings scare me

So I was recently with a guy who had a prince albert and I almost freaked out when I saw it. I made him take it out before we had sex. Just scared me. I couldn't handle looking at a piece of metal through his penis, OMG! And then I began looking up clit piercings, labia piercings, guiche piercings, omg they freak me out. Like I seriously get goosebumps and have a hard time looking at them. Is this normal? Anyone else freak out this badly to genital piercings?

It's kind of instinctual to get freaked out by something like that, since for most of humans' existence, if something was sticking through or out of us like that it would mean there was a serious problem

I think it's normal to be grossed out by metal poking out of someone's naughty bits, because it's unnatural. I don't care to see it.

My wife got it as an conversation piece as she loves the attention she gets from people as she shows it off. She has stated that it heightens her sexual feelings down there. When it is fondled, as it often is, she has reached a climax. As a result she can orgasm a number of times in a day. She loves it and wishes she had done it sooner.

    WTF is a prince albert?

I gotta say, if a dude wanted to have sex with me and he was pierced, I'd have freaked too!!! But, I am a hetero dude, so, I wouldn't want sex with him regardless if he was pierced or not.

But, the point is, why the FUCK did the guy want to pierce his junk for in the first place??? Just to decorate it???? That is fucked up. Guys should not stick metal in their dicks. Chick's shouldn't be piercing clits and shit like that. It is WAY too hard to keep clean. Would you want to lick some clit that has a dirty piercing in it? I wouldn't.

My wife has 4 piercings, both nipples, her navel and her clit. She gets many compliments and is always asked if they hurt when she had them done.
She tells them the navel hurt the least and the clit one hurt the most. She is proud of all her piercings and loves showing them off.

Although she loves showing it to others as a conversation starter she claims if she knew how painful it would be she wouldn't have it. But it does receive a lot of attention and questions......my wife is a real trooper....

        • Oh I bet. I wouldn't even know where to begin with questions. i would imagine the first two people always ask is "WHY ON EARTH?!" and then "how badly did it hurt?"

Ok, so I voted it's not normal, because of the part where you said, "I made him take it out before we had sex." My thoughts on it are...Why did you have sex with him? Clearly you have different tastes and piercings are usually a form of a person's identity. So by you becoming so freaked out over this makes me believe that there are other aspects of his identity that you won't be able to identify with and your relationship will probably end. Or you can face your fear and accept his piercing as part of his identity and allow it to stimulate you the next time you have sex as a sign of acceptance.
My wife has some tattoos that I would not have, but I had to accept them because I love her.

    Good luck and best wishes.

    • You seriously connect piercings with identity? Piercings can be taken out very easily. And tattoos are pretty much permanent, not like piercings, Do you not have anything pierced? Not the same at all. If he said that he must keep it in and no other way around it, I would agree we are not a match. But he felt no insult to taking it out.

Yes, everything we do is apart of our identity from our clothing to our haircut. A piercing is as much of our identity as the other things we do, if not more so because of the pain that it takes to get it done and the scare that it leaves.
