Gay dudes, why do so many of you prefer taking it to giving it?

OK, before I get a bunch of hate, I'm totally cool with gay people. I live in a very gay city and hang with lesbians, gays, everyone. Buuuuuut, I notice that among all the gay dudes I know from 11 colleges locally, nearly every single one of them calls himself "versatile" (give & take), but it eventually comes out they're all takers. Sooooo.... dudes. What's with that? Why so many more takers than givers?

BTW, if I were a lesbian, I'd definitely play the guy's role. I'd be a weight-lifting-muscle-bound-motorcycle-riding-power-finger-lipstick-lesbian. Just stayin' is all.

I'm not a man but I recently found out that prostate stimulation can give guys wild whole body orgasms. I always wondered what they are getting out if it...well now I know!

Anal sex feels Good, to receive it your prostate is massaged and any guy would like that if he tried it, to give it feels Good cause usually a anus is a lot tighter than a vagina. For that reason a lot of so called straight guys will secretly let a young fit college guy suck him off and bone his skinny tight butt, then some want to secretly experiement sucking a dick, all most All guys will deny it, but if their gf says it is ok,They will do it.

Probably because gay guys figure out that anal/prostate stimulation feels really, really good.

I was waiting for that answer. I've read/heard it often before. By that reasoning, I'd expect most open-minded, sexually experimental straight guys to be in love with prostate stimulation. There are a few, but every single straight dude I know enjoys active penetration (on a woman). So while I can understand being a switch-hitter (as a gay dude), I wonder why it seems like there are so many more receivers than givers.

That sounds offensive. It's not meant to be.

It's because our society has become more feminized.

Which is not always a bad thing. But it just depends.

OK, Sand. I want to know more about you. So, how'd you come to be so open-minded? I do agree with you that our culture, at least from what I've seen in 19 years AND from what I have access to in history journals and texts, has become a lot more "feminized." Maybe that has something to do with the women's rights movement. But even so, some of my friends showed me "gay literature" from the 1800s to the early 20th century in the West, and even though it's not a rigorous study, there always seems to have been a very strong feminine quality to gay communities around the world, even ones isolated from each other (in terms of media...).

And I read some studies at different medical centers that showed scans of gay men's brains, and key regions were statistically far more like heterosexual women's brains than heterosexual men's brains. I suspect there's something about being gay that inclines someone in tastes and affect towards the characteristics of the opposite heterosexual gender. I get most people think JackoBlackman's comment above was offensive, but I think there's some truth behind his words.

I don't know a lot of straight dudes like you who are sincerely comfortable with gay dudes, so kudos to you, man.

• sandnigga

Open-minded about what? Im just being realistic lol
Do you mean open-minded about how having femininity isnt a bad thing?
If so its because some people are too aggressive and femininity can help them
I guess im open-minded because i am? I dont know, I guess its just cause i see the truth in things lol

You sound like you got some secret documents ;D sounds interesting lol

Oh definately more feminized. You dont even need history books to tell you. You can just tell by seeing how our society has become

Oh no, it has very little to do with the womens rights movement. It is because we have a chemical called BPA that is being sprayed all over our food products
BPA is fake estrogen. Which just means it increases a person's femininity.

yea the gay porn definately didnt help though lol
its cause gay guys want to be like girls, a good amount anyway, and lesbians i think what to be like guys lol, it's like a unnatural reverse thing

the whole point of being gay is that you have to be something different than the natural way. and since the natural way in guys is liking girls, if you want to be completely gay you have to break those sexual feelings towards girls

I dont even know for sure what this jacko guy is saying lol

maybe its cause im bisexual but come off as straight XD haha
but even being bisexual I can see the destruction that gayness can cause to our future
you wouldnt think a bisexual guy would say that gayness is bad lol

No, I totally hear you. A lot of gay kids on our campus say some nasty things about bi kids behind their backs. Was a huge surprise to me at first, but I guess nastiness knows no cultural bounds...

I agree with you, in general, about how at least some gay people feel more drawn to the other gender in terms of behavior... That's not a popular opinions, but at least there are quite a few research studies (functional neuroimaging) that support your belief.

I haven't seen any gay porn. I've seen some straight and lesbian porn, though. Maybe I'm crazy, but porn just makes me laugh. Who the hell ACTUALLY does that stuff? And what's up with the soundtracks? That music would distract me. But I'll say this. I thought straight dudes liked porn until I met a larger community of gay dudes. Damn, those boys live-breathe-and-sleep porn. And there's this app they use to actually tell each other when they're nearby, so they can go play. In the middle of the day. Damn!

Thanks for the BPA reference! I'm off to look that up....

The more I get to know you the more you strike me as a cool guy. Yeah, I'm a girl.

well thanks :) you seem cool yourself

n i dont know why im reading this backwards lol

really?!? gay kids are talking bad about bisexuals?!?! XD hahahaha thats just fking stupid lol

n true that lol some people will be rude to each other because they have insecurities

you mean like how gay guys want to be like girls? then yea definately
its cause some guys admire girls to the point where they want to be like them
i mean i love girls myself but i dont want to be a complete faggot lol
and this neuro-functioning, sounds fancy haha

lol makes you laugh? XD haha
maybe when you have people shitting on each other lol
or shoving bananas in their holes lol

maybe if you mean something like this:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7TrZFxhrPUI
watch like the first 20 seconds lol

wow lol, where did you say you can get this app?
XP haha jk
yea thats really all gayness seems to be about, i believe theres barely any actual relationships with alot of gay people

I actually believe alot of atheist are at least bi-sexual or gay
for some weird reason, being atheist and being bi-sexual seem to relate to each other

yea no problem, im surprised you havent heard of that before with all the research you seem to do
gotta study how the faggots do it in the wild >.> lol

Hey, it's totally cool that you have your preferences. And I hope you have many years of pleasure having them satisfied. And don't think me an ass for saying this, though, but where there are multiple options, if there's a discrepancy in frequencies in the options chosen, then it is fundamentally not "just what feels best to someone." There must be reasons behind strong statistical deviations from expected outcomes.

Naaaaah, no worries here. Until I was 16 I actually thought I was asexual, then puberty hit. Hard. Not saying I did anything rash. (Not sayin' I didn't...)

As for being kinda logical, as an engineering major I sure hope I am! ;)

If you're ever in Boston let me know. I've got friends at most of the big schools here & I'm sure we could find some fun places to hang out. And even though it's out of the way, my friends at Amherst throw some of the BEST parties in the whole region!

Just sayin'...

i dont think i ever really understood asexual, just means you like everybody? isnt that the same thing then as bi-sexual? haha

you hit puberty all the way until 16? lol maybe you were too busy being smart lol
what are you saying? you chopped off your own leg or something? XD haha

wow your an engineer? :D cool

Whaaaaaaaat? No way! You gotta visit the Coast. If not Boston, then New York--no? I've been to some cities in Michigan and Iowa and Illinois, Missouri, Indiana. I like making friends in different cities so when we're visiting different states we know we can crash with each other and hang out and see stuff natives know much better than us visitors. Anyway, at least think about heading out to NYC. Reeeeeeally cool city, that one.

Asexual means you don't have any desire to have sex. I had a boyfriend when I was 14, nothing serious. But the kid ALWAYS wanted to try stuff. And I remember all my girlfriends my age were already trying things. I am NO prude, trust me. But I just didn't feel it. Until I was almost 17. Then I was getting ready to leave home anyhow. So....

How 'bout you? When'd it start for you?

Not an engineer YET. ;) Two years, we can talk. Like, maybe in New York City, huh? Huh? Huh? Oh, by the way, hope you don't take offense at me askin' this. But what's your impression of Detroit? How's the city been changing in the past couple years? I visited a friend of mine at the U there about three years back and Downtown looked kinda... well, not really popular. Do you live near there?

Aight, keep it real!

and i dont mean that in a bad way, it's just usually guys have the logic, and girls have the emotion

emotion can be good, and so can logic.

it's like a ying-yang effect, thats also why it's natural for a guy and girl to be together, and unnatural for two dudes lol

Has to do with the complex happening in the head. The "I'm gay" struggle always has to do with some sort of (and often hidden) male role complex. Could be dad, could be abuse, lack of dad, etc...
