Lyrics are supposed to be ambiguous. The listener is expected to bring their own meaning to the song, gently guided by the tone suggested by lyrics.
I used to think that some artists do this well, and some do not, but I found that to be naive.
It's a little like saying "I like good music." We all agree with that, until we start specifying which songs are good and which are not.
If you don't like an artist, stop listening. Leave the universal judgement thing to the market.
Spend your time contributing something positive to life. Any fool can be a critic.
