Fucked up a movie production set iin

So a movie was being shot in town and some hollywood douchebag try to detour me but I told him to go fuck himself, this is a public road, and kept walking. The people on the production set got all angry cause apparently I messed up something that required a lot of prep work, no idea what but they were yelling that I just cost them 14k for my little stroll through the set.

    I was an extra for an American movie being shot in the country a few years ago (director was Darin Scott). They work incredibly hard and have a lot to deal with. But of course the universe revolves around you and you can't comprehend how you simply have to detour around the set so that others can do their jobs. I'm curious, do you display the same attitude to roadworks or construction? They're in your way right, fuck them and mess up a whole days work.

    They got a special permit by paying money to the city for exclusive access to the street for a few hours. But, photo bombs happen. So what, you're just an everyday douche.

        First you file an application to use public property for a special event. The application is reviewed to determine how well the event serves the public. Block parties, and stuff are usually easy to get approved. Then you pay a fee of a couple hundred dollars to the city clerk. The police will drop off road blocks for your event.

    Dude you need a sandwich.

    I was an extra once and this guy who was also an extra whipped out a foot long sandwich and started eating it when we were supposed to be standing looking surprised at a horrific car accident and they told him to stop, had to do it again and out comes the sandwich. Everyone thought it was hilarious but the director lmao so they cut him out.

    Really, I doubt it. I live in an area where they shoot a lot of movies, TV shows, and even music videos. They are usually swarming with off-duty cops providing traffic control, security and getting a good off-duty pay too boot. If what you said actually happened you would be in jail by now. They don't give a hoot what you think. They will hook you up and haul you away in a second. Everybody makes a bunch of money at these shoots from the Mayor on down. However, if you just behave yourself they will actually let you mozie over to the craft tent and get a free meal. There's always plenty.
