Friends with benefits?

There's a really hot guy I know who is really flirty with everyone but isn't looking for a relationship. I'm a guy and I'm not looking for a relationship but I'm exploring my sexuality and this guy and I talked for a few hours and hit it off then played truth or dare. He found out I've never had a hickey but like the the thought so he gave me a few hickeys. He was respectful and got consent but I'm kind of innocent. I find him attractive but I don't want a relationship. Is he using me, how do I hide a hickey, what do I tell my dad (he saw it) and is this normal?

Is It Normal?

  • Friends with benefits always ends in a dumpster fire. No matter how well it might desolve it will ultimately detonate.

  • I mean, it seems like he likes you. If you are still exploring your sexuality, why not try and build up some courage and tell him? You don't have to be friends with benefits, but it could be really great for you to explore more and see what you like. Heck if you really enjoy it, you could be a couple.

  • Maybe you're using him? It doesn't sound as if he's using you. Give it time and talk with him about what you want in your life and listen to what he wants.

    • We are on the same page, neither of us want relationships but someone to call up if we're lonely
