When your single and your friend has a single friend, and they try to set you up with them... How often do they actually work out?
1 being Never
10 being Always
My friend set me up with this guy.. haven't met him yet but I wanna know whether they actually work or whether I have to find a guy on my own.

I *hate* set-ups. I once got set up with a girl who occasionally dresses as a hot dog. I kept thinking, "Why would someone do this to a vegetarian? Why did my friends do this?" She was really obnoxious too. Every time anyone said anything, she'd say, "Yeah, right, whatever" and change the subject back to herself.
However, she's now married to a mutual friend's brother and that was a set-up, so I guess sometimes they work.
God, that poor guy. I wonder if she wears the hot dog thing in bed and makes him all self-conscious about his penis size.
I was being deliberately vague for comedy value. I know I let the implication hang there that she dresses as a hot dog just for the sake of it (I half hoped people would believe that). She did do it of her own free will but it was to help a friend out (not just something she does because she enjoys it). After the three or four times she did it, I think she kept the costume (because it was a one-off thing rather than advertising for a fast food place).
She never wore it on a date or anything like that but what I did neglect to mention is how I found out about the hot dog thing. I was having a drink with friends and we peed ourselves laughing when a giant hot dog, a giant pizza slice, and a giant burger walked into the pub. I turned to one of my friends (who is known for his appetite) and said, "Tom, I think your food has arrived". And then the hot dog approached me, all friendly. Her face was painted so I didn't even know it was her until she opened her mouth.
Then I had to introduce my friends to my new girlfriend, the hot dog. It would have been bad if she was the burger or the pizza, but the hot dog? I had to put up with jibes about me liking a big sausage for ages. :/
