my best friend is a hardcore environmentalist and sustainability girl. the climate strike is tomorrow and my other friend and i do not want to go, mostly because large crowds protesting gives me anxiety and is just not my thing. i told her and she’s upset and doesnt underhand. thoughts? what should i do/say?
Use logic.
Ive seen environmentalist do all sorts of stupid things.
What matters is your daily living habits and maybe your vote.
Going to some city and chanting along with some hippies like a broken record wont change anything.
Your friend is probably one of those douchebags who has to recruit, and convert everyone she knows to her belief system. I figure, if you don't like crowds, or get anxious that's a good enough reason to not want to participate.
Don't go to that stupidity. All that crap is overinflated to seem like a bigger problem than it is.
