Friend got a dui

The other day my sister told me that a good friend of ours, ill call him jim, got a DUI. This is his first one and it doesnt even cover all the other idiotic things hes been doing. So know he has that on his record and a suspended liscence. Since then my sister has thought about it and feels bad for him but for some reason i dont. Its been a week since it happened, and my sister still goes on about it, and i havent given it thought. Yea, i know its a big deal and its on his permanent record but i dont see the point in feeling so bad about it.
And yea my sister does have this habit of over exxagerating things, but she has a point to.
Yea hes a good friend of ours, but closer to my sister than me.
is it normal that i dont feel bad for this guy?

    I got a DUI when i was like 18.. I had a couple beers with some friends and I drove a few blocks to drop her off at home.. I got pulled over by a SUV cop driving without his lights on and was taken to jail that night even though I blew UNDER .08. Even the judge thought it was rediculous I got sent to jail over that, but hey it's Dallas cops. Feel sorry for him, DUI's are BS. Now if it's a DWI it's a different story.
